The Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro 5G is the top model of the Mi 10T range, three new phones from the Chinese phone giants, released in late 2020 to complement the Mi 10 line from the beginning of the year. Joined by the Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Lite, the Mi 10T Pro sits just below the Xiaomi Mi 10, and just above the ‘standard’ Mi 10T, in the company’s line-up of handsets. The Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro sports a 6.67-inch display. It may not be OLED, but it's quite the impressive IPS LCD panel. Xiaomi has armed the Mi 10T Pro 5G with an optically stabilized 108MP (f/1.69) primary camera that uses the 1/1.33-inch Samsung S5K3T2 sensor which relies on 4-in-1 pixel binning. It is accompanied by a 13-megapixel primary camera with a 123-degree field of view and a 5MP macro camera. There is no telephoto camera for delivering some optical zoom magic, so you’ll have to make do with the 30x digital zoom output of the primary camera. Talking about camera capabilities, the key highlights include support for 8K video capture, 4K at up to 60fps, Slow-Motion capture at up to 120fps, a dedicated Vlog mode, AI SkyScaping 3.0 to name a few. 

The Mi 10T Pro’s 5000mAh keeps that big screen beaming for a full day without issue. Light users could probably eke out two days from the phone, and with a 33W fast-charger in the box, the Mi 10T Pro powers up to 100% in less than an hour. The Xiaomi Mi 10T series comes with MIUI 12 based on Android 10 preinstalled, which can now be upgraded to Android 11. MIUI 12 is a different take on Android, and like similar options, includes quite a few features intended to enhance the user experience.

Key features include Game Turbo, which lets you optimize performance for gaming. Mi Remote allows you to control media devices using the phone’s IR blaster. You also get a built-in screen recorder, QR code scanner, and a slew of other pre-installed apps, which can be deleted, and the high refresh rate and optimizations make for a smooth and responsive software experience.
